RAVERAP – I love rave and i love rap. Oh, they don´t fit in the genre of music that I normally play? You know what? I couldn’t care less.
It´s not been very often in my life that I did “fit in”. I’ve always been a little weird. I like my cothes in the loudest colors, I say what I think and I just love love love imagining all the wonderfully outrageous possibilities!
I wrote this song because I felt disappointed for often not even being given a chance because I didn’t match certain images or ideas.
Writing it I realized what a blessing it is to be able to learn that I am always exactly right, always enough and always lovable. That there’s others who are as weird, or shall we say “free” as I am, and that these people are my family. These people are whose opinion matter, not the ones in the cheap seats playing by the rules but never daring anything their heart truly desires.
Here’s to what it actually means to learn to be YOU!
