We all long to be seen. To be loved and accepted exactly as we are.
Unconditionally - this is the term we hear and use every day. Such a desirable feeling and such a beautiful thing to strive for, but are we getting it? And are we able to give it?
I have been exposed to a lot of rejection in my life and I say this with complete acceptance and even gratitude.
It truly hurts, but there is no doubt it has helped me learn and grow.
During my most recent feelings of rejection this song came to me. It was there for me, allowed me to reflect on what happened, helped me understand and process the universal pain of feeling unwanted.
